In Kuitunen's artworks, flowers are visible in the surfaces of reliefs and as three-dimensional sculptures. Ceramic sausages dress up as flowers and transform into strawberries. Text intertwines for the first time as part of the artwork, like a colo
The ideas for the new works were born in New York where Kuitunen had two months artistic residency in 2022. Specially the iconic New York water tanks and smile face logo in the plastic bags were inspirational for the new works.
